About Me

My name is Andrea. I’m a 32 year old mama of 3 and a full time night shift RN. I am a lover of Jesus, bedtime, clearance finds, kitty cats and books. I’m an avid reader and really enjoy having the opportunity to read and review new and upcoming books. I love a good deal and get excited at the sight of Target clearance tags and coupons in general. Bedtime is my favorite time of the day. I have 2 cats that I love to pieces and feel like life is richer with my soft little buddies. Life has generally not gone at all according to my plans and I’ve been through some “stuff” (who hasn’t?!) but God is good, all the time. I choose to move forward. I choose to live. I choose to laugh. I choose to love. My hope is that the random thoughts, blog posts, links and stories that land here will help you choose to do the same–or at least remember you’re not alone.

THE DISCLAIMER: First and foremost, let me just mention that I am NOT–I repeat NOT–any type of expert in trauma, grief, tragedy or anything else of that manner. Although I’m a nurse, I just want to make it clear that I am writing this blog as a gal that’s been through some tough stuff and is somehow (only by the grace of God) on the other side and working my hardest to thrive. Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions are simply that and if you are struggling, please PLEASE check in with a medical professional and/or someone from your church.
